 Travelling
from London take the A12 as you approach Colchester keep in the right
hand lane and after passing the turn off to Colchester take the A120
towards Clacton-on-sea taking the A133 to the first roundabout were
signs will direct you to Brightlingsea.
From Colchester, take the
B1027 which runs from Colchester to Clacton, at Thorington
turn into the B1029, after approximately 3 miles passing the Colne School
and Sports Centre bear right at the Sun Public House, you will soon end up
at The Hard, and floating jetty number 17 on the map above this is where you will board the Sophie Lea, we are not
restricted by tides and can get in and out of harbour at all times.
