THE COST OF TOPE FISHING IS MORE EXPENSIVE THAN OUR NORMAL TRIPS AT £695 UP TO EIGHT ANGLERS THIS IS DUE TO THE DISTANCES WE HAVE TO TRAVEL WHICH IS UP TO SIXTY MILE ROUND TRIP AS FEATURED ON SKY TV & RECOMENDED BUT WE ALSO DO A CREDIT CRUNCH TOPE TRIP NOT AS FAR OUT AT £495 UP TO EIGHT ANGLERS INCLUDING BAIT AND FOR INDIVIDUALS THE PRICE IS £85 EACH FULLY INCLUSIVE.WE WILL ONLY TAKE BOOKINGS FOR TOPE FISHING ON THE UNDERSTANDING THAT IF WE CAN NOT GET OUT TO THE LONG DISTANCES INVOLVED FOR TOPE FISHING DUE TO WEATHER THEN WE WILL CHANGE THE TRIP ON THAT DAY FOR GENERAL FISHING WHICH IS INVERABLY SHELTERED & CALMER AND COSTS FOR THE DAY REDUCED.

Tope Fishing Adventures for the Game & Sportfishing Angler

The Tope is one of the hardest fighting fish found in our waters of the Thames Estuary the premier area in the UK for this species and record holder of eighty two and a half pounds for this fish! With up to seventy pound not uncommon and fish to thirty-five pounds regularly caught, tackle and anglers are put to the ultimate test! This is the best chance you have of possibly catching the biggest fish you are likely to catch in the Thames estuary and maybe in the uk. The fishing can be fast and furious and sometimes down right chaotic with runs and if your not careful break-ups from every side of the boat If you would like to sample our form of Big Game Fishing then June to Mid July is the best period with chances of a return fish in mid August. The cost is more than our regular fishing trips as distances to steam are much more with approximately fifty mile round trips. Tackle should consist of a 20 to 25 pound class rod, reels ideally multiplier loaded with 25 pound mono single hook running ledger with 8.0 forged hook. For the novice we offer our usual free expert tuition with rod hire and tackle options if required, and of course all the usual facilities you would expect from a top of the range charter boat.
